ONLINE BOOKING CONDITIONS General information about online purchases for Vesterlyng Camping Sales and delivery Below you will find useful information about using online booking. You can read about how to pay, how to receive a receipt for a purchase, our cancellation policy and much more. PAYMENT All prices in the Vesterlyng Camping online booking system are, like everywhere else on the website, written in Danish kroner, including VAT and all taxes unless otherwise stated. The prices stated in euros are indicative. Payment is made using one of the accepted payment cards/credit cards for online booking, including Visa, Mastercard and Diners, as well as MobilePay and PayPal. (We would like to remind you that when paying with a company card or payment card issued outside the EU, a card fee may be charged.) INFORMATION ABOUT TRADING ON THE INTERNET You can safely shop on the internet through our online booking system. As a consumer, you are generally protected against any misuse of your credit card online, so there is no deductible for misuse of your payment card via the internet. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY When booking and paying for a rented cabin, glamping or caravan, a place for your own tent, or a place for your own caravan or motorhome, you will receive a booking confirmation/contract from Vesterlyng Camping, which includes the account for your purchase. The confirmation will be sent via email within 24 hours of the time of booking. Please check that you have provided the correct email address. Delivery of the booked stay will take place upon arrival at Vesterlyng Camping on the day of arrival (and will end upon departure on the day of departure). Both of these times are stated in the above confirmation. Standard check-in is from Check-in is at 2:00 PM, and check-out is no later than 11:00 AM for rental units and 12:00 PM for camping units. Early arrival before 2:00 PM can often be arranged for a fee - please call on the day of arrival, as it depends on whether the unit is ready; late check-out can also often be arranged for a fee. The ordered product cannot be transferred to others or exchanged for cash. RIGHT OF CANCELLATION We would like to point out that your booking is not covered by the Consumer Contracts Act's rules on the right of cancellation. The sale of accommodation (cabins, camping, glamping, etc.) is covered by a special exception in the Consumer Contracts Act's section 18, subsection 2, no. 12. The booking made is therefore not covered by the 14-day right of cancellation. Instead, our cancellation terms apply, which you can read below. CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS Your options for changing or cancelling your holiday depend on which product you choose when booking. Enquiries regarding changes or cancellations must always be made in writing by e-mail to info@vesterlyng-camping.dk (remember to include your booking number). Note: Once the holiday has begun, the booked period is binding and cannot be transferred. There is no right of withdrawal for the cancellation protection products below. 1. Basic (Standard Terms) Automatically included in your booking, unless you make an active purchase. • More than 30 days before arrival : You can cancel and get a refund for your stay (minus a fee of DKK 350). You can also change the date or unit of your booking for a fixed change fee of DKK 50, plus payment of any price difference. • Less than 30 days before arrival : It is generally not possible to change the booking, and no refund will be given in the event of cancellation. 2. Tryghed (Cancellation protection in the event of illness) Price: DKK 195,- (own caravan/tent) / DKK 295,- (rental). MUST be purchased when booking. • Conditions : Entitles to a full refund (minus the Trygheds fee) in the event of acute illness, accident or death among the travel participants or in the immediate family. The incident must be medically documented. • Deadline : Covers up to 12:00 the day before scheduled arrival. 3. Flex (Cancellation protection regardless of reason) Price: DKK 250,- (own caravan/tent) / DKK 450,- (rental). MUST be purchased when booking. • Cancel for any reason : You can cancel up to 48 hours before arrival, without us asking any questions. The amount (minus the Flex fee) will be refunded as a credit note to Vesterlyng Camping, valid for 24 months. • Free change : You are free to move your booking to another date/unit up to 48 hours before arrival (in the case of a more expensive season/unit, the price difference will be paid). PERSONAL DATA AND COOKIES We only collect the information that is necessary to complete your booking. COMPLAINT PROCESSING If for some reason you do not receive your contract confirming your purchase, and you have not received an error message from the system, you can write or call the address or telephone number below. Complaints about the booking process, the booking itself or the product (stay) must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error or should have discovered the error by normal review of your contract. You can complain in writing or orally. When Vesterlyng Camping receives your complaint, it will be processed as soon as possible. We will decide whether a refund should be made or whether a price reduction should be given. Access to complaints If we are unable to find a solution, you can send a complaint to Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg. You can complain to the Mediation Team for Consumer Complaints and the Consumer Complaints Board via the Complaints Portal for Nævnenes Hus ( www.naevneneshus.dk ). SHIPPING AND DELIVERY When booking and paying for a rented cabin or caravan, a place for your own tent, or a place for your own caravan or motorhome, you will receive a Booking confirmation/contract from Vesterlyng Camping, which includes the account for your purchase. The Booking confirmation/contract can be printed from the website after booking has been completed, and is also sent via email immediately after purchase, if the correct email address is provided by the buyer. Delivery of the ordered product takes place upon arrival at Vesterlyng Camping on the day of arrival (and ends upon departure on the day of departure). Both of these times are stated in the above contract. The ordered product cannot be transferred to others or exchanged for cash. RIGHT OF CANCELLATION AND REFUND You have the option to cancel your booking under the following conditions: Own caravan and tent: • If cancelled more than 30 days before arrival, the entire package price will be refunded, however, a cancellation fee of DKK 300.00 will be deducted. • If cancelled between 30 days and 14 days before arrival, 50% of the price of the stay will be refunded, however, the cancellation fee of DKK 300.00 will not be refunded • If cancelled less than 10 days before arrival, no refund will be made. Cabins, rented caravans and glamping tents: • If cancelled more than 21 days before arrival, the entire package price will be refunded, however, a cancellation fee of DKK 350.00 will be deducted. • If cancelled between 21 days and 14 days before arrival, 50% of the price of the stay will be refunded. However, the cancellation fee of DKK 350.00 will not be refunded. #] If cancelled less than 14 days before arrival, no refund will be made. Once you have started your holiday with us, the booked period is binding and cannot be transferred to others. CANCELLATION PROTECTION IN CASE OF ILLNESS Covers cases of acute illness or death among one of the travel participants, and must be documented by a doctor. Cancellation protection costs DKK 200. In addition, an administration fee of DKK 250 will be paid in case of cancellation. Cancellation protection covers until 12:00 the day before the booked arrival. Only written cancellations via email are valid. There is no right of withdrawal for Cancellation Protection. Cancellation protection MUST be ordered when booking the stay, and paid for no later than the payment deadline for the first installment. If you book with us by phone, you must mention if you wish to purchase cancellation protection. REGISTRATION OF INFORMATION Vesterlyng Camping registers your name, address, e-mail and other information provided in connection with the purchase in its customer database. The information is not disclosed, but Vesterlyng Camping retains the registration for 5 years. Vesterlyng Camping uses server-side cookies and a secure connection to ensure security for the information you provide on the site. When paying by credit card, registration takes place via a secure server, where the information is encrypted before being sent over the internet. Vesterlyng Camping reserves the right to make price errors in online bookings, so the prices stated on the website always apply.
